Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

Form content — the answers you provide about your loved one, used solely to write your eulogies. Your email — to send you the finished eulogies. Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use your answers to generate your eulogies and email them to you. We do not use your content to train models, and we never sell your personal data.

Third parties

We share the minimum necessary with: our AI provider (via a Claude API relay) to generate text; our payment processor (Creem or Stripe) to take payment; our email provider (Resend) to deliver your eulogies; and our database/storage host (Supabase) to store your order.

Data retention

Orders and drafts are retained only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us via the contact page. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell it).

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to remember your in-progress form and order. If we add analytics, we will request consent first.
